My project or charge code is missing in time entry

You open Vantagepoint time entry but the project or charge code you expect is not in the list.

Likely fix

Ask your project manager or Deltek support team to confirm you are added to the project team and that the charge code is active for the current period.

Send your Vantagepoint user, the project number, the period, and a screenshot of your time entry grid.

Approval didn't reach the approver

You submitted a timesheet, expense, or AP item but the approver did not get it.

Likely fix

Confirm in Vantagepoint who the current approver is, whether they are out of office, and whether the workflow assigned the right person.

What to collect

Send the transaction number, the submitter, the current approver, and the time you submitted.

Cannot sign into Vantagepoint

You cannot complete sign-in on cloud or on-prem Vantagepoint.

Likely fix

Confirm the Vantagepoint URL, that your account is still active, and that any multi-factor sign-in or company sign-in step is completing.

  • Did the issue start after a role change, period close, or workflow change?

  • If a project or charge code is missing, ask your project manager or Deltek support team to confirm you are on the project team.
  • If an approval is stuck, check the workflow status before asking IT — the next approver may simply not have acted yet.
